Travancore History  Conference

Travancore Malayalee Council Gulf Chapter is launching the Travancore History  Conference at Sri Chitra Thirunal Bala Rama Varma Maharaja Nagar (PJT Hall, Ranny), Kerala on 14'th  August 2010. The conference will be establishing a forum of researchers and historians who are versed in the history of Travancore. The Council will be publishing an Encyclopedia which will be eye mark to the generations.

The members of the Royal Family of Travancore and eminent researchers assured their full support for this noble gesture. The various discussions and studies will be conducted in the coming days to know the trends and developments in past glorious days of Travancore.

Travancore History Conference

Invite Paper Presentations.

Papers should reach on or before August 10, 2010. The abstracts of these papers if approved will be printed in Part II of the Proceedings of the Travancore History Conference.

During the conference; the history of Travancore will be unveiled under various broad themes: Social, Political, Economic and Cultural.

Detailed discussions on each topic will be done chaired by noted professionals and historians. Travancore Malayalee Council Gulf Chapter will be publishing the proceedings of the conference for further guidance and studies in these subjects.

The conference will be inviting teachers, post-graduate students and research scholars across disciplinary boundaries to attend and share their thoughts.

As part of the conference; the council is planning to host an Exhibition related to Travancore History (Manuscripts/ Photographs/ Digital Presentation/ Travancore Coins, etc.).
